Smartphone maker Nubia is working on the Red Magic 5G and some details on the smartphone are being fed up before the official launch. The new smartphone is confirmed as having a 144Hz display refresh rate which is higher than the 120Hz display panels currently available on the market. The Red Magic 5G is also said to support 80W fast-chargeing which is invisible in the smartphone sector at the moment, even dual-mode 5G sports. A new teaser also suggests that this smartphone will come with an “air-cooled fast charging solution”

The characteristics of Nubia Red Magic 5G have been revealed by none other than the brand president Ni Fei. He took to Weibo to remember that the company’s ready 5G gaming smartphone will feature “super fast charging and large capacity batteries.” He also explained that the fast charging of a smartphone quickly raises the temperature of the device, which causes the protection of the battery and the monitoring mechanisms of the increase in temperature to kick in a reduction of the charging current. To address this problem, he cites that the Nubia research and development team has created a unique integrated fan to create an “air-cooled fast charge solution”

Ni Fei also explains that the fan will be used to cool the battery during fast charging. Another teaser from Ni Fei himself reveals that the phone could have up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. In addition to the fast charge details and the “air cooled fast charge solution”, Ni Fei also shared a sample of camera from the smartphone that shows great details. Rumors indicate that the main sensor of the Red Magic 5G is the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor. The Red Magic 5G is said to have two other sensors, but its details are unknown at the moment.
